Tanco engages Impiana Hotels & Resorts Management to manage and operate Splash Park Serviced Suites project in Palm Springs Resort City, Port Dickson
KUALA LUMPUR, 29 August 2013- Splash Park Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Tanco Properties Management Sdn Bhd) (SP), a subsidiary of listed entity Tanco Holdings Bhd, has engaged leading Malaysian hospitality group Impiana Hotels and Resorts Management Sdn Bhd (IHRM) owner of the award winning brand, IMPIANA to manage and operate Splash Park Suites, the resort component of a proposed mixed commercial development known as Splash Park, located within Palm Springs Resort City (PSRC), Port Dickson.
PSRC is developed by SP’s sister company, Palm Springs Development Sdn Bhd (PSD), also a subsidiary of Tanco Holdings Bhd.
IHRM will manage and operate Splash Park Suites consisting of 830 serviced units under Phase 1 of the 23 acre mixed commercial development with Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM600 millionwhich comprises of an 8 acre dedicated water theme park (which will house what is expected to be the LARGEST water playship structure in Malaysia), complete with restaurants, entertainment and retails stores, a hotel block complete with MICE facilities.
In a statement issued today in conjunction with the signing ceremony to appoint IHRM, both PSD and SP said it is keen for IHRM to manage and operate Splash Park suites, scheduled to open in 2017/2018.

The proposed Splash Park development is a one-of-its-kind tourism product in Port Dickson being developed by PSD. Planned to be built on a 23 acre freehold parcel with golf course and sea views and with 8 acres thereof dedicated for its water theme park component, it is positioned to be the largest water theme park in Port Dickson. Splash Park will be a timely boost to the resort town by providing best in class tourism attractions to boost higher arrival of day-trippers and holiday visitors both locally and internationally.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Dato’ Seri Farouk Abdullah – Executive Chairman of IHRM and Dato’ Lynne Tan, Executive Director of Tanco Holdings. Mr Chan Chee Meng signed on behalf of Splash Park Sdn Bhd while Mr Francis Chung represented IHRM.
